Physicians and other health care workers who perform and participate in examinations and procedures within the head and neck region and airway are at particularly high risk of exposure and infection from aerosol and droplet contamination. There is a high viral load in the nasal cavity of infected patients with SARS-CoV-2 & high risk specialties exposed to SARS-CoV-2 infection includes Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgeons and Dentists, Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, Ophthalmologist.
