Despite numerous new particular publications being published every day, the virus's transmission mechanism is still not fully understood. The Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptors are highlighted in this article as a potential route for viral transmission into the body through the oral cavity. It also offers recommendations for standard safety precautions to be taken when providing oral healthcare in dental offices.
